William DeLorme

William has extensive executive search experience in the unique and challenging Japanese market. In his over two decades in Japan, William has witnessed the changing landscape of the market through the evolution of companies and their people, and the impact that recruiting, especially leadership, has on companies in Japan. RYZE was founded to answer the needs of companies seeking to identify and hire the highest-calibre talent in Japan.

William DeLorme came to Japan in 2002 and established his career as a human resources consultant based in Tokyo.

In the past 20 years, he built and led Japan’s top recruiting team for global Tech companies. William founded RYZE Consulting, based in Tokyo, committed to deliver exceptional results in executive search.

Prior to coming to Japan, William worked for a global electronics manufacturing company serving global clients including Apple and Alcatel. Born in Montreal, William is now a permanent resident of Japan.
