With 18 years of cumulative experience in Headhunting, María Nicholson is one of the most experienced experts in the Argentine executive search industry.
Her boutique firm was founded in 2006 on a wealth of both personal experience and excellent credentials. María previously served at two of the global top five search firms in the world, Korn Ferry and Spencer Stuart.
María was formerly a Partner at Korn/Ferry International, heading the Consumer and Life Sciences practices, for five years. Prior to this she worked at Spencer Stuart, where she acquired solid experience in the recruitment of top executives and middle management professionals for diverse industries.
She began her career as a specialist in the area of Education. Author of 2 books, she headed the first private institution in Argentina, in the evaluation of the quality of education and was the author of the education platform for a Presidential candidate in 1999. She also directed the education department of Fundación Novum Millenium, which was a locally well recognized think tank.
Very active in the non-profit sector, she formerly sat on the Board of Ashoka for 7 years. And she was a consulting team member of the Consejo Empresario Argentino, FIEL (Fundación de Investigaciones Económicas Latinoamericanas) and IDEA (Instituto para el Desarrollo Empresarial de la Argentina), 3 of the major business forums of the time.
She holds a degree in Political Science, with a Major in International Relations from the Universidad Católica Argentina, and an EDP from the IAE Business School.
